CC #5; Marijuana advocates hope to rise from 'Prohibition'

Anyone, anywhere already knows about the usage of marijuana. Just like everybody knows about alchol. Many years ago, literaly I mean many years ago alchol was not legal, but today it is. Just like liqour became legal why not marijuana? Not just for medical patients, but also for those who want to use it.
I don't appricitate the racisim there is in this article. "This, the Mexicans make into cigarettes, which they sell at two for 25 cents, molstly to white high school students," Ansligher told congress. Mexicans or Hispanics are not the blame for the introduction of marijuana in the U.S.. Why they are blamed could be because they are though of less or just not worth nothing, but yet are human beings like white folks and blacks, asins, cubans, etc. Society will never change there will be judgement at all times good or bad.
"Yes, medicinal whisky all of a sudden, all of these doctors are saying we need to prescribe this because there's so much money to be made. You could prescribe a pint a week," Peck said "We know enough about alcohol now; it's not medicainal." Back than befor alcohol was leagal docters had would risk there job that alcohol should be prescribe. It was a lot of bull, because there was no actual research to prove alcohol was a medical thing. It wasn't just this doctors wanting to make more money than ever.
"Medical marijuana helped save the economy in California. The counties north of San Francisco srvived teh recession through marijuana," said Aldrich, the marijuana historian. Marijuana may not be what we want the United States to legalize, but it would benifit the economy a lot. It will strike the drug cartels in the border which I am against. It sure would help prevent many crimes among this country.
Whats best would be to legalize marijuana. The coutry is missing out on the profit anyways so why not help the country. Atleast making it legal for medical reasons will benifit enough.

CC #4; Woman carreid away by lottery

Its very unlikely to commit a crime without knowing you committed it yourself. Well Amber Hawthorn, 22, of 143 B Allen Chapel Road is accused of lottery fraud. This Batesville woman is in some deep stuff. This case is being investigated.
Desah Flash Market manager reported the employee, taking lottery tickets without paying. The manger at the market said, she "watched the entire day's video and saw Hawthorn taking several tickets without paying for them." When this manager notice the missing of $300 dollars worth of tickets gone, she/he had the right to report this. If she/he hadn't they were putting there job on the line. Good thing is the Desah Flash Market has cameras to record and video all that goes on in the store. In no time the manager figured out who was to blame for the committed crime.
In the interview with Detective Michal Thatch, Hawthorn said she "had bought two lottery tickets while at work and won $30." This statement by the criminal would be believable if proved so in the videos. Otherwise the punishment for Hawthorn should come through.
"Mrs. Hawthorn stated she did not cash the tickets in and took tickets from the winnings from the first two," according to the arrest warrant. Mrs. Hawthorn shouldn't have lost track of what she was doing due to what the consequences were at stake. Though now Hawthorn is accused and is on a highly priced bond and possibley do six years in prison. Even though Hawthorn says otherwise I'm sure she knew what she was doing and thought she could get away with it and that no one in the market would notice.
For any one that has a job, and "gets carried away." Be aware of the consequences it sure would suck to do time for a pity crime. Its just not worth it think befor you act.

CC #3; Sharp voters split on wet/dry issue

Election Day is right around the corner. All residents along Highway 167 from Cave City to Hardy are preparing to vote for the up coming wet/dry Sharp County. This debate has enough signatures for placement on the November ballot by the Save Energy, Reap Taxes group. This topic has many residents on the tip of their toes concern will it be legal to buy alcohol.
Lacey Mitchell, states, "Members of SERT say they believe that allowing alcohol sales will benefit the economy and lower pollution caused by gasoline use since being able to buy locally would reduce the number of people who drive 20 to 30 minutes into other counties to make their purchases." Throughout Highway 167 from Cave City to Hardy will benifit so many alcohol consumers with their purchases. Less money to spend on gas to buy the need. All this money being spent will benifit the county and the money will help in any need their is going on.
Officers Grabby, disagree with the nonsense and "believes more access to alcohol means a greater chance for it getting into the wrong hands, those under 21." I definetinly agree, its a bad idea, but no matter what underagers find a way to get their hands on alcohol so it would be little differance. Alcohol will bring a lot of stress and distress for all residents.
Noah Sisk, said "People who are going to drink are going to drink,  whether a county is wet or dry won't change that." If Sharp County doesn't become a wet county it's not going to stop residents from buying. It'll just be to bad because all the income will be going to the wet places. Voters really need to re-concedered on this topic it could be good for the county to bring in business and buyers near buy who don't have a wet county.
This debate will continue voted yes or no residents will see this as an issue and it all depends on YOU. Vote for whats best.

CC #2; Transplant

Lacy Mitchell teh guard staff writer writes, "Week-old baby recieves heart transplant." Amazing news hits Stevi Herrmann and Justin Frazier after their new born was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The baby boy Brantley Lee Frazier was born Aug. 30 in Arkansas Childre's Hospoital. This family is very blessed their baby boy has another opportunity to live.
"News of a new heart came as heturned 1 week old, on Sept. 7. That was a Friday Justin said recalling how they got the news at 3 p.m. and doctors began the trasplant at 11 that night, completing the surgery successfully in nine hours."
Thanks to technology doctors can give an infant another chance to live. My brother had a heart murmor at one year and seven monthes. He went under surgary and the tiny whole on the left side of his heart. God is big and does what he does for a reason. The Frazier family is blessed and I'm happy for them as well.

BR #1; Rules of Attraction

Typical gangbanger mad at the world. Elkele's author of Rules of Attraction shocked me with its love tale and tragic moments.
A good book like this one opens my eyes. Good things come better from bad, love makes a difference, and a happy ending.
I actually agree with the style of this book its all lovey-dovey. The authors's tone is the same as the first book A Perfect Chemistry.
The characters are so real. I can imagine them as they are described. The two main characters Kiara and Carlos interpeted as a coky and full of himself. Carlos attuide made me want to stop reading. "I dont need a peer guide," Carlos said. In my option every teens first day of school isn't smooth. I remember my first day in kindergarden i don't remember the name of my first school, but I sure do remember I cried. Never will it vanish from my mind I'll always recal that memory for everytime I go to some place new.
The setting is very obvious taken place in many places like the school, home, his brothers dorm, working undercover. This does mathc the conflict of all that happens through out the book.
"I dont't believe in promises." Carlos has a hard time trusting, but he shouldn't have harsh feelings towards everyone. I can see through Carlos eyes and he has strong reasons to be the way he is. But if he has someone who shows him that they care why not let the wall to crumble. I've seen it happen and better off are those who accept life as it is with all the joy and love. If I was in his shoes I'd put my guard down. I myself have done so.
Rules of Attraction is an amazing book the best one I've read so far.

CC #1;

In a recent article by  Courtney Spradlin in the  Log Cabin Democrat  entitled "Woman claims abuse by officer and later drops charges", "the charges were not filed and a warrant for Bell's arrest never issued". False statements were made by a 20 year old female, according to Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland. She was not sure of her accusation.
Many problems can be issued by the accusation the young lady has done "alleged Bell held a gun to her throat and hit her". Although, charges were signed by a judge, but weren't issued. The young lady has made false accusations, because if she had  not than the female would have wanted justice for the mistreatment by an officer.
The charges were dropped by the female. This experiance can alert many officers to be more well-behaved or the people they apporach can cost them their job.

Erika's Bucket List

1. The List - by Siobhan Vivian: The List is a book I'm really eager to read this book. Its all about teens and how they hurt each other. Words hurt, but they hurt more when they are in writing. This book probably will teach teens a lot about bullying.
2. Rules of Attraction - Simone Elkeles: This book seems like a very good book and I want to read it, because its the second book to Prefect Chemistry. This series has to do with a lot of gang violence and what it takes to get out. Reading this book I'll learn more about the characters and what happen to their families being involved in such a bad organization that they have to live by.
3. Chain of Reaction -Simone Elkeles: This book is the third book written by Simone Elkeles. The books are very impressing of how they interpret gang violence and how they destroy society. Its a good book to read if you are someone struggling with life's hard choices. So far, this author knows how to really get a readers attention.
4. You Against Me -by Jenny Counham: This book really caught my eye when I read a quick summary about it. Its seems like a romantic novel, books like this really got my attention. Within a person lies if to believe a family member or justice that has evidence of a crime they may or may not have committed.
5.Glass - by Ellen Hoptins. I want to read this book because its the next book to Crank. The first book was just so great. In this book the life of the young girl continues. This character has it hard when she's hooked really bad on drugs. I
honestly want to read of everything she went through and all she had
to give up.
6. Impulse -by Ellen Hopkins. Another book by a great author. Ellen hasnn't dissapointed me in other books, so this one shall be ver good. This book has many characters it doesn't have one specificaly. This book really has my attention, beacuse I'll feel and see through the persons' point of view and what they went through.
7. Tricks -by Ellen Hopkins. Another book by Hopkins. I'm excited about the books she writes they have have a lot of meaning in life. Many challenges the character goes through and the way they can over power all the negative phases in life.
8. Fallout -by Ellen Hopkins. Well, another book by the amazing author who getz many young adults full attention. I have not had the chance to read any but the Crannk, but eventually before the year is over I will hace accomplished my bucket list of books.
