BR # 4; Dead Is So Last Year
Dead Is So last Year by Marlene Perez struck me with happiness when I found out that the author had a new book along with the series. The characters in the book are so real I can see them as I read the book. My favorite character the main one is Daisy. Daisy is the main character and everything that happens in the town of Nightshade, California she seems to always discover secrets. My second favorite character is Daisy's boyfriend Ryan. The way he is describe makes him so real, I would be so in love with him if he did exist. Besides he's is very attractive he is also a werewolf. I want a werewolf boyfriend like Taylor Lauthnor.
The book describes many settings. Some of the most important situations accure at Sims a old fashion dinner. The town knows it as the hangout spot many teens attend their after school activities. Another place that became very popluar was one that had open recently and what was very popular was the milkshakes.
A theme that realized was don't trust someone you call a bestfriend or someone porfissional. Through out the book a teacher who was a role model to the students of Nightshade was cloning the towns people.
I surely recomand this book to all the ones intrested in physics, vampires, and werewolfs. This book is porbably my second favorite book.

CC #4; Gender inequality in and out of the workplace.
This news article titled Chart: The many jobs that pay women less than men personally shocked me when I first read it. The story
shows a graph picturing the difference between men and women's yearly
salary in some jobs. Are women still earning less money due to gender
roles?
The jobs that have the highest difference in pay between men and women are shown to be the blue collar jobs where the employee works outside of the office. The graph wants the reader to believe that women are being stereotyped as someone with less ability to do some blue collar jobs. On average, women earn 60% as much as men in real estate and insurance companies. Women are also paid not as much in higher fields such as surgeons.
However, women have gotten equality in jobs like physicians and counselors. Women average a slightly higher pay as men as counselors and health technicians. Although this is a good sign for women, they still average around 80% in the national average pay compared to men according to the graph.
Another article titled Canada’s Women Face Most Violence in North that came to my attention was about assault in Canada. The chart shows that more women are attacked in Canada's most northern territories or states. Women living in these territories are mostly younger and are still earning an education. The statistics of attacks on women have increased in Canada since 2011.
These attacks on women are a "barrier to equality" for them. These attacks may cause an increase in cost for health care. It may also lower productivity for employers in canada.
Women are still facing discrimination inside and outside the workplace. Even in countries like canada, women are facing problems in their everyday lives.

CC #3; Battered Wife Syndrome
In Ann Veilleux artilce titled Why Women Stay: Understanding The Battered Wife I truly understood why these woman do not leave their abusive husbands. Sometimes in a relationship it is not easy to walk away and leave your partner. In some cases abuse is a way to receive affection and love, when realty is no one should put their hands on any one.
In Ann Veilleux article she states, "A major reason we all pick the partners we do is in hopes of getting the love we longed for (and didn't fully get) from our parents". Ann has a point, because most woman are attracted to what they were around during their childhood. In the meantime they should look for better and not for someone who will treat them as if they were any less. This happens everyday in a women's life ending up with the wrong person, and not being able to escape the abuse. Because in these women's mind they think they deserve what they get.
In the sixth paragraph at the end Ann says, "Since we still need love and approval, we still continue to try, fruitlessly, to get their love and approval just as we tried with our parents". For respect it is right to have a partners approval, but not if he mistreats you. As of parents who abuse their children is very wrong too, what fault that a pure child have to be brought into a world with out any sense. Parents should want better for their children, specially the ones who had a hard life.
At the end of the paragraph Ann describes, "People who have been wronged to the point of taking out their rage on others can be treated and helped to have useful lives". Abusers can redirect their lives even after causing harm to love ones. This will help change the world in bits and pieces if abusers out their would come out and admit they have been abuse and that is why they hurt others as well. Community today helps women who are abused and that is great, but their should be a program for the abuser causing this pain to better these women's life and their self esteem rise.
This article really touched me deep I can understan why some women stand by thier husbands or boyfriends. Sometimes I don't think it was because of their childhood, but maybe for other reasons.

BR #1; Rachel Rene Russell
"I personally thought my plan was pure genius," said Nikki. After an embarrassing adventure at McKenzie Holster party things went down for two lovers. Rachel Rene Russell an author of Dork Diaries Tales from a no so popular party girl blew my mind.
Nikki's closest friends stranded by her side even after all that happened. Nikki's best friends Chloe and Zoey apologized for not being their for her when the incident went down. Nikki's secret crush still felt the same for her even after her embarrassment. Whats the envy of others only brings negativity to their own selves.
Yes i like the author's writing style it is very humorous. The tones very, usual i have read the other books that are just as funny. "My life is hopeless," Nikki quotes. It is very funny because everyone has said this, but truly do not mean it. Only those whom been through bad situations really can relate too.
Gotta go shower and eat breakfast," said Nikki rushing in the mornings. Well I think it is also, funny because I do not shower in the mornings its too cold only those hot summer days can i handle.
"I'd just totally die if my secret crush Brandon asked me to go," stated Nikki. Ahhh, I remember back in the day I had one crush. I still get butterflies to think back on those day cute memories.
Yes, the story is so real to me. I can picture the book as it describes as I read all along.
"Hi everyone meet me in the library on Monday at 7:00 a.m. for an emergency meeting," Nikki nervously told all fellow students. She's planning something huge I thought as I read everyone will be surprised.
My favorite character was Nikki, but beside her I really like the other characters too like Chloe, Zoey and Brandon. "We are not going to tolerate McKenzie and Jessica bullying any longer," confidently Zoey and Chloe told Nikki. A few tears came to my eyes because as true friends they stood side by side. These days in this world friendship does not really exist, at least not to me. "I came in here to ask if you'd go to the dance with me," shyly Brandon asked Nikki. Oh my gosh!!! I thought how cute Nikki's crush likes her as much as she likes him. Even though Brandon had no doubt that she might turn him down he didn't let the thought stop him.
In a way this book is one of a kind no comparing. It really relates to schools around the world, theirs just some students who believe they are truly better than others. I truly believe we are all the same, the only difference is the appearance, but deep down we feel the same way just don't demonstrate to all.
I personally don't think the book and I connect, because I don't worry about popularity. I too caught up in graduating and getting out of here.

CC #2; Boyfriend accused of assualt...
The Batesville Daily Guard tells, "Boyfriend accused of assault". This article describes the tragic romance of two lovers whom seem to not be able to understand one another any longer. When a man puts his hands on a woman she should no longer tolerate his abusiveness, it is observed. Near the Batesville area a few miles out to the small town of Newark a man ends up arrested. David Barnhouse and at the time fiance Ashley Weather disagreements lead to gunshots terrifying the neighborhood.
Investigator Dustin Robbins, states, "a single, unfired .22 caliber bullet was reportedly later found outside the apartment and collected as evidence". The couple fight was very dramatic their children have to deal with this nonsense. Ashly Weather left the residence to not argue with Barnhouse any longer, but according to the Batesville Guard, he insisted to go after his fiance. Sometimes in a relationship arguments can be very heated moments where you can do just about anything feeling angry, but there is no excuse to use violence specially using a gun.
"Weathers reportedly told Robbins that prior to the incident at the neighbor's, she and Barnhouse had an argument in the street at which time he grabbed her by the hair and threw a knife in her direction before the two returned to their home and continued to argue until she left," told Batesville Guard. Ashley Weathers should have not tolerated any of this. She should have called police right away and not let her fiance treat her like such thing. If woman don't draw the line they will always be abused and treated as they are not human.
Robbin "interview Barnhouse about the incident and Barnhouse reportedly denied and refused to answer any further questions without an attorney". Barnhouse should not deny what already happened he should just tell the true and get on with the consequences. In the investigation later was found that David Barnhouse already charged and convicted of domestic battery in the third degree with Ashley Weathers as the victim.
This couple have a criminal history as a relationship, why not just move on and leave on another alone why? Make the children suffer. In the end when the children are grown they will act from what they have seen and been through.

CC #1; Ash Flat gets beer...
Ash Flat gets beer, the Batesville Daily Guard informs all residents. After November Election Day alcohol is permitted in the Sharp county area whom was a dry county. The issue was pretty insane with all the voters who really wanted this to pass in Sharp County. I most definitely was shocked, but in the end I came to the conclusion we have many residents who like a little beer or glass of whine every so ofter around these areas.
"Not only can customers get their groceries, oil changed and prescriptions at Walmart as of Thursday they can now get their alcohol too, at least in Ash Flat," said Batesville Daily Guard. This wet county excitement for alcohol is beyond means. Now you can purchase all at once at Walmart. Less money to spend going to those wet far away counties and a lot more money to spend on the supply. Also, more money will be welcoming to the county to help services in the town. Now what will be the new problem will be the drivers who will probably be driving while intoxicated. Might as well be prepare on the road for all the danger lurking among all areas.
"The first shipments of cold beer arrived from Newport to Rebel Station around 11 a.m. to business owners Jerry and Rhonda Messer, making it the first legal retail sale of beer in the county in more than 60 years," said the Batesville Guard. As the new year begins business owners loose no time nor money making the orders or getting permits to sell the allowed supply among those consumers ready to spend. In a way it is sad to see these dry counties become wet, because their are more and more alcoholics. The business people should also, realize their will be young teens trying to buy with a fake identification or steal the supply; or get the supply from someone who is over the age of 21. We need to take consideration on the cons and pros of alcohol being approved in these new areas.
"If all rules are followed and these business do what is required for the application process, the ABC board has until Feb. 20 to reach its decision," said Batesville Guard. If these businesses follow through all the requirements it won't be a problem selling. The more buyers their are the more supply will be coming in and better of the county will be, but the generation is unbelievable. If all can just go smoothly till Feb. 20 than for sure the application will be approved, but till than if any problems occur than who knows what will go down.
Well congratulations for who can buy alcohol, which I think it is not something to be majorly proud of. After liquor begins to sell in the county richer will the business be, but broke the customer will end up.
